Optimal humidity
The optimum humidity recommended by medical specialists is in the range of 40 to 60% relative humidity. People perceive the air in indoor spaces with humidity in this range as pleasant and having optimum humidity. This humidity level is thus ideal for the health of people and animals as well as protecting furniture, wooden floors, musical instruments, antiques, plants and many more valuable items indoors from drying out.

Indoor air humidification by ultrasonic humidification
Healthy, fresh, optimally humidified and fragranced indoor air prevents irritated airways and dry skin. Ultrasonic technology can be used to achieve the right humidity in indoor spaces during periods of low relative humidity.
Ultrasonic technology is one of the most effective methods of humidifying indoor spaces. Ultrasonic water atomization is carried out by a small, high-frequency vibrating plate (membrane) in the water tray of the humidifier. The ultrasonic membrane finely atomises the water into a cold or warm mist, which is then released into the indoor air by a gentle airflow from a fan.

Ionisation air purification
The built-in ioniser produces negative oxygen ions that purify and refresh indoor air in addition to humidification. Negative ions attach themselves to dust particles, microorganisms and other undesirable substances in the air and bind them together. These particles become heavier than the air, drop down and are thus filtered out of the air.
Heating element for warm humidification
The CA-606B humidifier features a heating element for warm humidification. Mist generation is at its most efficient and humidity is increased most rapidly when the heating element is switched on. Pre-heated humidification also combats bacterial growth in the water and maintains room temperature at the desired level during the winter months.
Aromatherapy with Clean Air Optima® essential oils
The use of essential oils is known as aromatherapy. Aromatherapy focuses on maintaining and promoting health, and healing disorders. Aromatherapy has an air purifying effect and removes unpleasant odours. Use it to create a pleasant ambience in your living spaces and enjoy feeling comfortable and more relaxed. Clean Air Optima®'s high-quality essential oils are micro-fine atomised by the CA-606B humidifier with ioniser and aroma atomiser, creating a fragrance composition tailored to your wishes.

The clearly set out digital control panel on the front of the CA-606B humidifier features six touch keys for easy selection of the desired settings. In addition, the CA-606B humidifier also features a remote control.

Usage and maintenance
Water Filter W-01B (display message 00)
The Clean Air Optima® CA-606B humidifier is equipped with a water filter that descales, purifies and softens the tap water, thereby preventing limescale deposits and unpleasant odours from the water. The water filter can be cleaned twice a week under running tap water.
Determining the water hardness with the test strip supplied in the packaging
1. Dip the test strip included into a glass of cold tap water for 1 second.
2. Read the water hardness test strip after one minute.
3. Refer to the table to determine the expected service life of the W-01B water filter.
The need to replace the W-01B water filter is indicated by the double-zero (00) indicator light in the humidifier display starting to flash after 400 hours of operation.
Reset the water filter timer by pressing and holding the humidifier’s on/off button for about 3 seconds. The timer has been successfully reset once the indicator light goes out.
Silver Ion filter SI-01
The Silver Ion Filter SI-01 eliminates bacteria and viruses in the humidifier water tray and can be cleaned twice a week under running tap water and needs to be replaced at least once a year.
Water Filter W-01B combined with Silver Ion SI-01 filter ensures optimum water quality.
Cleaning the transducer (ultrasonic membrane), water tray and water tank
Method for this cleaning process:
1. Dispense 2 - 4 capfuls of Clean Air Optima® Cleaner & Descaler into the water tray (spread 1 capful on the surface of the transducer and 1 capful on the PTC heating element and leave to act for 2 -5 minutes.
2. Carefully remove the mineral (limescale) deposit from the surface of the transducer and PTC heating element with a small brush, cotton bud or toothbrush.
NB: Never use sharp or hard objects to clean the transducer / PTC heating element.
3. Then add water up to the rim of the water tray and leave it to act for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 minutes.
4. Thoroughly rinse the transducer / PTC heating element and the water tray with water.
5. If there are still traces of limescale visible, we recommend that you repeat the cleaning and descaling process.
6. Clean the inside of the water tank with mild washing-up liquid and rinse with clean water.
After cleaning and descaling, your unit will be hygienically clean, free from limescale, free from bacteria, free from viruses and immediately ready for use again.
NB:
To clean and descale the unit, it needs to be switched off such that the atomization does not release acid into the air via aerosols.
Clean Air Optima® Cleaner & Descaler is not suitable for the water tank. We recommend using mild washing-up liquid for the water tank.
Using essential oils
Only Clean Air Optima® essential oils developed for ultrasonic aroma vaporisers and humidifiers can be used for aromatherapy.
The use of other essential oils or additives not developed for ultrasonic aroma vaporisers/humidifiers can cause damage to the unit! Units damaged by such additives are not covered by warranty.

We hebben hem een weekend in huis. Het ademen in de woonkamer is fijner, we voelen ons een stuk gezonder.
Excellent produit, joli design, silencieux, facile d'utilisation et efficace.
Sehr schnelle Lieferung, Top Kundenservice, Gerät ist einfach zu bedienen. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit hat sich verbessert.

Een geweldige aanschaf! Eindelijk geen droge ogen en zere keel meer in huis in de winter. Het apparaat doet het prima en ziet er ook nog eens mooi uit. hij moet wel 20 cm van de muur staan en op een verhoging. Dus we zijn nog op zoek naar een mooi boomstamtafeltje waar hij op kan staan. Zoals in het filmpje van Clean Ar Optima. Vannacht hebben we hem voor het eerst in de slaapkamer gebruikt. Daar moest ik wel even aan wennen. Ook al is het geluid heel zacht, hij slaat toch steeds aan en dat hoorde ik. Maar denk dat je daaraan went en het voordeel is frisse lucht, ionisatie en een heerlijke geur van eucalyptus of lavendel in je huis of slaapkamer. En je wordt niet meer wakker met zo'n hele droge keel. De thermostaatstand is prettig, waarbij je een gewenste luchtvochtigheid kiest, en dan regelt de bevochtiger het verder vanzelf. Kortom wij zijn heel tevreden en ik denk dat ik ze ook ga neerzetten in mijn yogacentrum.

We hebben het apparaat nu bijna een jaar in gebruik. De luchtvochtigheid is nu uitstekend.
Nu een paar maanden in huis.
Doet uitstekend zijn werk. Bijvullen gaat prima, luchtvochtigheid is nu een stuk beter in de droge periodes.
Wir haben uns das Gerät für unser Büro angeschafft und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig. Laut ist das Gerät überhaupt nicht und die Luftfeuchtigkeit hat sich schnell verbessert. Wir werden es auch für weitere Büroräume anschaffen, somit würden wir es weiter empfehlen.
De lucht in huis was zeer droog, wij hadden continu last van droge neus. normaal bij een vochtigheid van 33%. Na enkele uren was de woonkamer op 55%
Na 1 week vragen we ons af, waarom we dit niet eerder hebben geplaatst. De silver-ion functie is een verbetering voor het stof (ik heb een hout haard) op onze moderne stoelen. Het statische is er helemaal vanaf. We hebben zelfs de 2de geactiveerd in onze bureau/ontvangstruimte om zo een beter evenwicht tussen werk en prive te vinden.
Het lekken van de tank bij hervul is een nadeel dat we er graag bijnemen.
Goed toestel. Onmiddellijk verschil merkbaar.
Er lekt een weinig water uit te tank bij het bijvullen, maar dit is verwaarloosbaar bij de voordelen van het toestel.
Denken om een 2de aan te schaffen voor de bovenverdieping.

Na aankomst hebben wij hem direct geinstaleerd. Perfect, onze luchtvochtigheid stond op 23% en binnen een half uur was de 40% bereikt.
Super en een echte aanrader, en nagenoeg geheel geluidloos.
Vanwege vloerverwarming was de lucht echt gortdroog in huis.
Killing voor mijn meubels en planten.
Met de bevochtiger is dit makkelijk en nauwkeurig te verhogen.
Verrassend stil in gebruik.
Klein nadeel, als je de watertank ervan af haalt om bij te vullen, lekt toch wel wat water eruit.
Sehr schnelle Lieferung! Luftfeuchtigkeit ist deutlich besser Kauf hat sich gelohnt. Um jedoch 100%ig die Arbeitsweise des Gerätes und die tatsächliche Luftfeuchtigkeit zu verstehen war das mehrfache lesen der Anleitung sowie das mehrfache durchforsten der Internetseite nötig.
We gebruiken het product nu 1 week en we zien zeker een verbetering van de extreem lage luchtvochtigheid.
Je ziet dat het werkt. We testen nu nog uit hoeveel het toevoegt aan de luchtvochtigheid. Mogelijk schaffen we er nog 1 aan om de luchtvochtigheid nog wat meer omhoog te krijgen. Dat zegt genoeg denk ik. Het apparaat is stil en zichtbaar effectief.
Prima, stil en makkelijk te vullen.
We hebben nogal veel hout in huis en dat krimpt altijd in de winter met deze luchtbevochtiger houden we de luchtvochtigheid beter op peil en daarnaast vinden mn planten het heerlijk ,wat ook een mooie bijkomstigheid is is dat het stof niet dwarrelt door de lucht maar juist daald.
Werking is goed zeer stil.

Eindelijk is onze parketvloer ook in de droge winter zonder die lelijke grote naden! Deze luchtbevochtiger heeft de opgegeven capaciteit en een voldoende groot reservoir. De werking is gewoon goed, en vrijwel geluidloos. Mijn katten heben geen last van het ultrasoon geluid. Afstandsbediening werkt soms wat traag, maar die heb je met de automatische stand eigenlijk ook nauwelijks nodig. Een serieuze aanrader!
